Ethan's 2nd year Falcon Football - Scrimmage

Abi please fix this "flippin" photo...then tell me how you did it.

They announced all the players and they said, "Freshman, Ethan Beck", his friends were laughing that they didn't know he is a sophmore.
This is not a very good picture of "E" but he is the one behind the guy with the ball, bringing him down.
Yellow cap...center of photo, #34.  Defence.
 Catching kick off.
He is the one twisted on the ground.  Is it any wonder his hip hurts...I can't even figure out how is right leg and left arm can be on the same side?????

New Project - Pumpkins

 These three are Kim's.
 These are Grandma's.
 These are Deb's.
And these are Tam's.   We are putting backs on some of them and putting lights in them so they can be lit.  I think I will just sit them on my patio without any lights.
   Love ya, Deb

The storm hit!

The head mover was very impressed with all my skills. He commented both when he was moving me out of my Chicago apt and when moving me into the Philly apt. With building boxes, disassembling furniture, and my general lets get'er done attitude :)  He said "Girl, you handy!" I replyed, "you bet I am! I am my mothers daughter. I would be the black sheep of the family if I was any less!"

I planted flowers to spruce up the front while the movers did there thing. They are small now, but notice how they coordinate with my bike so nicely!

The calm before the storm...

My Place in Philly

Here are a few pics of my sublet in Philly and the park across the street that has a farmers market every saturday! It's also quite the hangout spot, every evening it's packed with all kinds of people!
I'm currently on the hunt for a permanent apartment, it sucks! I know I'll find something though.
So far I love the city! It's so cute, with lots of history and amazing architecture. People are very friendly here and there is always stuff going on, block parties, farmers markets, street fairs, stoop parties (people hanging out on their stoops in front of the buildings).
Yesterday I met with a new potential roommate and she took me on a walk through the neighborhood. We sat in front of the 1st bank ever in America. Then in front of the second bank ever in America. It was amazing! I will definitely wonder back there and take pictures for the blog. There are also these really cute historic pedestrian blocks that look like rows of hobbit houses. There seem to always be tours going on there so I have not taken any pics yet but I will soon!

The entry to the apartment and the "welcome home sign" the tenants that I'm subletting from left me! They have been soo sweet and welcoming, I'm very lucky!
