I went to National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana from Oct. 19-22. The top 15 most active kids on the points chart from our chapter were chosen to go and I was 2nd.
This was before we left. We took a charter bus with 3 other schools (Adrian, midway, and sherwood).
On Wednesday evening, we went to a Cole Swindell and Chris Young concert at the Lucas Oil Stadium.
Thursday morning we were up at 6 for our first session.
We had several tours and my favorite was the dairy farm.
Our bus got stuck at the dairy farm.
This is Rilee from Adrian. We had to do a partner activity with someone from another school that we did not know and she was my partner.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway
We continued the tradition of kissing the bricks at the start/finish line.
And finally, Saturday morning we were up at 6 again to attend the American Degree Ceremony.
I had a great time and met a lot of New people. There were over 64,000 members at convention.
Charlotte - Sounds like a great trip...but I am glad you are home.
