Today I woke up at 5:30am, ate some peanut butter toast, picked up my bag that I packed at 1am the night (same morning) before. Went to the gym and made it to work by 8:45am. I sat mouth turned down and eyes glazed at a 10am meeting, worked through lunch and ran around like a crazed chicken missing its head. I may have snapped at a few people, most definitely blatantly ignored a few more, and went ballistic when my Jimmy Johns dinner order was screwed up for the millionth time ( #4, no tomato, add avocado, this is not brain surgery people, I have had the same order every night for the last 2 weeks!). It's now 7pm, I have almost finished my project and am going home at a decent hour (yay) where I will spend some more time on the bloody computer looking for a job that will get me out of hells little known second location 330 N. Wabash Suite 3600.
There is an upside! This weekend I will be celebrating my birthday at the roller derby. Who knows maybe they will be looking for a new roller girl. I'm a fast learner and an even tougher chic!
Day worth blogging about? I don't think so. I hope to one day be as lucky as you mom!
Such a great plan, become and roller derby chic and roll on into Jimmy Johns and body slam them into the wall....You go girl! Deb
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be there to go to the Roller Derby with you. Maybe if I were there we could be the first mother/daughter derby team. That would probably cause another earth quake. TT
ReplyDeleteabi-I have an idea for Jimmy Johns. why dont your just start eating tomatoes and the next time you go in they will leave off the tomatoes because they finally got it and then you can give them the evil eye and say...where are the tomatoes! try it..gma
